Are you an experienced Warehouse Manager looking for your next challenge?
We’re looking for an organised, hands-on and people-focused Warehouse Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of our warehouse operation.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional who enjoys leading a team, improving processes and ensuring everything runs safely, efficiently and on time.
The Role
As Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse activities, from goods-in and storage through to picking, packing and dispatch.
You will lead and motivate the warehouse team, ensuring high standards of safety, accuracy, productivity and housekeeping are maintained at all times.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing and motivating the warehouse team, providing clear direction and support.
- Planning daily workloads and allocating resources effectively.
- Overseeing goods-in, stock control, picking, packing and dispatch operations.
- Maintaining accurate stock levels and investigating discrepancies.
- Ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and dispatched on time.
- Monitoring warehouse performance and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Implementing and maintaining effective warehouse processes and procedures.
- Ensuring all health & safety requirements are followed and a safe working environment is maintained.
- Managing warehouse housekeeping and ensuring high standards are consistently maintained.
- Working closely with other departments, including transport, purchasing, sales and operations.
- Training, developing and supporting warehouse employees.
- Monitoring KPIs and taking appropriate action where required.
- Managing warehouse equipment and ensuring it is used safely and effectively.
About You
We’re looking for someone with proven experience in a warehouse or distribution management role who can demonstrate strong leadership and organisational skills.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience managing a warehouse team.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse and stock-control processes.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- The ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong communication and people-management skills.
- A practical, hands-on approach to problem solving.
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- A strong understanding of workplace health & safety.
- Experience working with warehouse management or stock-control systems.
- The confidence to make decisions and take ownership of operational issues.
Forklift experience/licence would be advantageous, although not essential.
